Description:
Braid is a game of action / platform in the style of Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong. Even before its release Braid had already received the most innovative game prize of the Independent Games Festival 2006.
The award celebrates the inventive gameplay offering the player a series of puzzles based on time manipulation, and of course the traditional jumping between platforms that give name to the genre of the game.
The plot, which seems to have come straight out of one of the adventures of the Italian plumber, revolves around the kidnapping of a beautiful princess holds large braids (braid in English).
With strong colors the look directly refers Dutch paints Vincent Van Gogh and striking strokes. Scenarios are another highlight of the title reveals flooded images of color and full of light, creating a magical and imaginative setting.
